What we do

EditorCamp provides video editing and post-production — wedding films, event coverage, vlogs, podcasts, and the deliverables that go with them (highlight films, teasers, reels, and more). What's included in your project is whatever we agree in your quote or brief.

Quotes and pricing

We quote based on the scope you describe: the footage, the deliverables, and the deadline. Prices are in the currency we agree with you. If the scope changes along the way — more footage, extra deliverables, or a tighter deadline — the price may change too, and we'll always confirm that with you first.

The footage and materials you send us

By sending us footage, music, photos, or other materials, you confirm that:

• You own them or have permission to use them and to let us edit them.
• You've kept your own backup — we can't be responsible for footage that's corrupt, incomplete, or lost before it reaches us.
• Any music or licensed content you supply is cleared for use. If you need licensed music, let us know and we'll help.

How a project runs

Once your quote is agreed, you send us your footage and brief, we edit it, and you review the result. Each package includes a set of revisions so we can get it exactly right — the number of rounds is described in your package or quote. Turnaround times we mention are honest estimates, not guarantees, and can shift with complex projects or busy periods; we'll always keep you posted.

Your client portal

If we give you a portal access code, please keep it private — anyone with it can view your projects. You're responsible for activity under your code. Let us know straight away if you think it's been shared or lost, and we'll issue a new one.

Revisions and approval

Ask for changes through your portal or by email and we'll work through them within your revision allowance. When you confirm a delivery as complete, we treat that as your sign-off that the edit meets the brief. Further changes after that may be quoted as additional work.

Payment

• We invoice as agreed in your quote — this may include a deposit before work starts.
• Final files are delivered once payment for the project is complete, unless we've agreed otherwise.
• Deposits cover time already reserved and booked and are non-refundable once work has begun.
• If an invoice goes unpaid, we may pause work until it's settled.

Ownership and your portfolio rights

You own your footage, and once your project is paid in full you own the final edit we deliver. We may keep a copy of the finished film to show in our portfolio and on social media — if you'd prefer we don't, just tell us and we'll keep it private. Any licensed music or stock we provide remains under its own licence.

Confidentiality

We treat your footage and project details as confidential and only share them with the people working on your edit. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Liability

We put real care into every edit, but our work is provided on the basis of the brief you give us. We're not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for a project is limited to the fees you paid us for it.

Cancellation

You can cancel a project at any time by letting us know. You'll be charged for the work completed up to that point, and any non-refundable deposit will be kept. If we ever have to cancel on our side, we'll refund anything you've paid for work not yet done.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version, and it's the version that applies to new projects.
